2. How will my course grade be derived? Expectations in each of
these areas will be discussed in class
The formulation done each marking
period is as follows:
50% test/quiz.
30% laboratory
20% class/homework.
Parents/guardians should have signed a
class contract with their
child after the first day of class.
3. What is expected
in class?
be on time to class
come to class with all supplies including your textbook
begin work right away
submit all assignments on time
4. When is work due?
Assignment due dates are announced in the class and posted on this
site. Check
regularly for updates
Written work is checked and or collected on due dates.
5. When are tests given?
Expect a test for each chapter. They are announced well in advance.
Quizzes are usually announced.
Check chalkboard and site regularly for updates.
6. Is there extra help? Making an appointment: its
easy! Office: Room 236

7. When can I make up lab work?
See me as soon as you return to school.
A day will be set up (after 3 p.m.)
Be prepared to stay at least one hour
Make-ups are general done within one week.
After this time, no make-up will be provided.
