Our goal with this set was to replicate the Globe Theatre stage as seen here. This was based on several photos from the new Shakespeare's Globe in London. It featured a stage extension into the orchestra pit; two levels with a balcony and railing; and many "marble" columns - all painted. The smaller columns were 8" and 10" sonotube, while the two larger ones were made from 18" sonotube, purchased from Kuiken Brothers in Midland Park.
